How to Register for Online Courses

If you are interested in taking an online course at Chabot College, you can register easily online or through Admissions and Records (building 100). Please make sure that you are a Chabot student. New to Chabot College? You can also apply to the college online.

The registration process for online courses is identical to that for all other courses which use the CLASS-Web system. You can locate online courses in the CLASS-Web website by selecting Search for Online/Web-Based Courses. Online courses are also listed in the printed class schedule under each subject. Make sure you meet any posted requirements, including prerequisite courses and assessment tests.

If you are trying to add to an online course that is already full, please view the Faculty/Staff Directory for the instructor's email address and contact information.

If you are new to online learning, you might consider taking General Studies 1: Intro to Online Learning. This course can be taken before or at the same time as your first online course.
