Having trouble with your reading and writing
assignments? The WRAC Center was created just for you. The center provides
helpful resources in a friendly, comfortable setting. WRAC stands for Writing
and Reading Across the Curriculum. Students in all Chabot
courses, not just English, can take advantage of our free services.
The WRAC Center offers several methods of support for
success in college, which include:
Drop-In Tutoring: Drop-in
during open hours to work with a trained tutor to get help with your reading and
writing needs for any Chabot course.
English 115:
A faculty member is
available to provide one-on-one assistance with reading and writing skills, as a
supplement to college courses.
Computer Classroom Areas: Two
computer classroom areas with approximately 27 computers each are available for
classes as part of their regularly-scheduled lab time.
WRAC Center Staff and
Tutors: WRAC Center staff and tutors are available to assist with student needs and
questions.

Monday-Thursday
9:00am-4:00pm*
Fridays 9:00am-2:00pm
*From 4pm - 6pm, Drop-In Tutoring and 115 will take place in room 2351
