Please note: To access Financial Aid documents from this site, you need Adobe Acrobat Reader and a printer. If you require a paper or alternate format of any financial aid document, please contact the Financial Aid Office at (510)723-6748, or visit during our office hours.
In order to complete your financial aid file each year, you will need to supply all forms and documents that are requested (found on CLASS-Web, written tracking letters, and/or staff requests). Each must be completed, signed and dated, with appropriate documentation attached. No financial aid will be awarded or disbursed until your file is complete.
Please bring all of your requested financial aid follow-up documents to the Chabot College Financial Aid Office during our office hours. We may request additional documents after our initial review.
After the review has been completed, if you are eligible for financial aid, you will receive an award letter which will inform you of types and amounts of financial aid for which you are eligible. Please view your financial aid file and award status on CLASS-Web Financial Aid, rather than calling or visiting our office, to allow our staff more time to process and award student's files.
Students must use the 2008-2009 FAFSA or BOG application to waive enrollment fees for Summer 2008, Fall 2008, and Spring 2009. The 2008-2009 (orange) FAFSA will not waive your Summer 2008 enrollment fees, but must be used for consideration of other forms of financial aid, such as the Pell Grant.

You must be able to document the reasons you present in your request. In some cases, approval of this request can decrease your eligibility for federal aid.
Please see the Financial Aid Office staff if you wish an additional review of your eligibility based on decrease in family income or other circumstances after filing the FAFSA.
Only complete if you will be enrolled less than full-time at Chabot AND enrolled at another college for the same term you will be attending Chabot. Approval is done on a case by case basis.
